Privacy policy

1. Data controller

Zignio’s controller is Zignio LLC, located at 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (Wyoming). For privacy questions, email support@zignio.app.

This policy distinguishes the informational website from the applications and account, creation and playback services. Where a business supplies third-party data, responsibilities and, where required, a data-processing agreement must be established; Zignio and the business are not presumed to always have the same role.

2. Website visits

The current landing page has no registration forms, account access, advertising analytics or trackers configured by Zignio. Images, fonts and videos are served as first-party files, without embedded third-party players.

When you visit the website, technical information such as your IP address, requested page and browser data is processed to deliver content and maintain security. When you open an external link, such as Google Play, that service’s policies also apply.

3. Application data

Zignio does not and will not sell your personal data to third parties, including the name and email address used to register. We use this data to manage your account and provide the service. Providers needed to operate Zignio may process it for the purposes described in this policy; that processing is distinct from selling your data.

Account: name, email, user identifiers, authentication and verification information, access dates and technical security data. The reviewed system stores password hashes rather than plaintext passwords.

Content: AI prompts, supplied images, designs, outputs, files and publication decisions. Screens: linked-device identifiers and names, status, playback information and data needed to synchronize content.

Purchases and support: subscription information, credits, transaction identifiers and messages you send to support. The app also integrates Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose errors.

4. Purposes and lawful grounds

Account, design, pairing and publication data are used to perform requested functions. Billing and transaction information supports purchase management and legal obligations. Technical data supports authentication, abuse prevention, incident investigation and security.

Where required by applicable law, the relevant grounds must be specified: contract performance, legal obligation, properly assessed legitimate interests or specific consent. Accepting terms must not be confused with consenting to every data use. This document does not add authorization for marketing or AI training.

5. Providers, AI and transfers

Zignio uses Google/Firebase for authentication and diagnostics, Google Play Billing for purchases and OpenRouter to access AI services. These providers may process the data needed to perform those functions.

When you use AI, the necessary prompts and files are sent to OpenRouter and the provider processing the request. Data retention and use depend on the provider and service configuration. Avoid including confidential information or sensitive data.

Service providers may process data in countries other than yours. These operations are subject to applicable data protection obligations.

6. Retention and deletion

Data is retained for the time needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention for security or fraud prevention must be limited to what those purposes require.

Zignio Player stores content on the device for playback. An offline screen may retain files until it reconnects. Copies exported outside Zignio are managed separately.

7. Deleting your Zignio account and data

You can delete your account in the Zignio Android app under Profile > Delete my account. Your designs and images are deleted, your screens are unlinked and stop playing, your sessions are closed, and your name, email and password are erased.

The record of your credits and purchases is kept, with no personal data attached to it. We keep it to meet accounting and tax obligations and to handle claims or refunds; it is anonymised and cannot identify you again or give access to the account. Your email is free to register with again if you want to.

Before confirming, save any files you need outside Zignio. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone: deleted data cannot be recovered through your account. Exported copies and files on offline screens are handled separately.

Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel your Google Play subscription. To stop future renewals, open Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select Zignio and choose Cancel subscription.

If you no longer have the app, you can also ask for deletion by email: the steps, what is deleted and what is kept are at zignio.app/en/delete-account/. For any other question about your data, email support@zignio.app. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.

8. Rights and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability, and withdraw consent where it is the processing ground. Proportionate identity verification may be required. You may also contact the competent authority where applicable.

To exercise your rights or ask about your data, email support@zignio.app.

9. Security, children and changes

Security measures must match the risks and include access controls, credential protection and incident management. Absolute security is not guaranteed. Business devices and screens must be protected against unauthorized access.

Zignio is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. Important changes to this policy will be communicated and, where appropriate, users will be asked to make a new choice.
